Introducing ‘Meeting of the (Strong) Minds’: Our NEW Marketing Podcast
Some agencies talk about marketing. We decided to record it.
After years of helping clients launch podcasts, build brands, and make noise online, the team at Strong Minded Agency is stepping behind the mic. Meeting of the (Strong) Minds is our brand-new marketing podcast - a mix of real conversations, creative strategy, and unfiltered team banter. This is not your average industry talk. And that’s exactly the point.
It Started with a Team Meeting
If you’ve ever been on a Strong Minded Zoom call, you already know the vibe. Think: screens full of ideas, offbeat commentary, a few good laughs, and someone sharing a screenshot of a weird ad they saw that morning (or Luke showing off one of his many costumes through the years). That’s the core of this show - it feels just like one of our real (virtual) meetings.
Everyone’s mic is hot. Anyone can chime in. Whether it’s a breakdown of a bold campaign, a trend we’re tracking, or a strategy that flopped (and what we learned from it), we talk through it all.
From Listener to Producer to Host
I’ve been listening to podcasts for over a decade and co-hosting a weekly show with my brother for over five years. Behind the scenes, our team at Strong Minded has been producing podcasts for others -including The Disney Dish with Jim Hill, the top travel podcast in the U.S.
We’ve helped launch Walk With Me with Liz Hofreuter, The Beyond Impact Podcast with actor and speaker Colin Egglesfield, and many more across business, education, and entertainment.
And while we’ve loved being behind the scenes, at some point we had to ask: Why let everyone else have all the fun?
What Makes This Marketing Podcast Different
We’re not following the typical format. This isn’t a news recap or a dry Q&A session. And while it’s definitely not a comedy podcast, there’s no denying the built-in humor.
You’ll hear shades of Monty Python or Conan O’Brien in the editing, the timing, and the overall rhythm. The humor doesn’t come from trying to be funny - it comes from being honest, unpredictable, and just a little weird in the best way.
No scripts. No fake laughs. Just a team of marketers talking through ideas, trends, and creative wins (and fails) with open mics and open minds.
What You’ll Hear
- Behind-the-scenes stories from real marketing campaigns
- How to shape a brand voice people actually connect with
- Lessons from businesses trying new things—and what they’ve learned
- Opinions that aren’t afraid to challenge the norm
- Honest conversations about what’s working, what’s flopping, and what’s coming next
We’ve got decades of combined experience, a few strong opinions, and plenty of energy to bring to every episode. If you're into marketing that doesn’t sound like marketing, you're going to feel right at home.
Meet the Minds Behind the Mic
This isn’t a solo mic setup—we built this podcast like we run our agency: as a team. Every episode features voices from Strong Minded Agency contributing different perspectives, expertise, and energy. No one’s just sitting in the background. If you’ve got a mic, you’ve got a voice.
Eric Hersey – Owner of Strong Minded Agency, longtime podcaster, and the one who keeps things moving (most of the time). Eric steers the conversation, asks the big questions, and occasionally goes off on a pop culture tangent.
Natalie Jeffers – Business Development & Marketing Coordinator with a deep understanding of branding, strategy, and client needs. Natalie brings thoughtful perspective and isn’t afraid to call things as she sees them.
Jenny Snyder – Web Designer and UX Specialist who balances creativity with functionality. Jenny’s insight keeps things grounded in what actually works online - and she has a sharp radar for bad design and mixed messaging.
Luke Hladek – Production Specialist with a library of random knowledge and a talent for impressions. Luke keeps things interesting with unexpected facts, occasional character voices, and observations that come out of left field - but always land.
Each episode is a collaboration - part discussion, part brainstorm, part marketing roast. The different voices (and the occasional interruptions) are what make it real.
Where to Tune In
New episodes drop monthly on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and pretty much anywhere you can find podcasts.
Want the full experience? A few weeks after each launch, the full video podcast will be available on our YouTube channel. Expect visuals, behind-the-scenes clips, and the kind of personality you don’t always get from audio alone.
