Ohio Foothills needed a website that could act as both a tourism guide and a regional storytelling platform. The goal was to create a digital destination where visitors could discover what to do, where to go, and why the foothills region is worth exploring. The site needed to balance visual inspiration with practical travel information while also supporting local economic development.
This project focused on developing a multi-county tourism website with a structured county-by-county experience. We built out content frameworks that allow visitors to explore each county in a consistent way, including things to do, points of interest, blog content, and testimonials. The structure was designed to support both user exploration and search visibility, helping travelers discover the region through organic search and then guiding them deeper through related content.
The website experience was designed to encourage discovery. Each county section was built to feel like its own mini destination guide, with clear pathways to explore attractions, points of interest, and things to do. Layout pacing and content hierarchy were intentionally crafted to keep visitors moving, clicking, and planning, without feeling overwhelmed by information.
Because this project represents multiple counties, collaboration and alignment were essential. We worked through shared content needs, county-specific priorities, and regional consistency to ensure the website feels cohesive while still reflecting local personality. Feedback loops and ongoing communication helped us build a structure that can grow over time as counties add more stories, updates, and visitor resources.

Tourism content needs to inspire and inform at the same time. The strategy focused on making each county easy to understand and exciting to explore, while also building content depth that supports search performance. By pairing things to do and points of interest with supporting blog content and testimonials, each county section provides both trip ideas and social proof, helping visitors feel confident choosing the region.

The final website balances regional unity with local identity, giving each county a structured place to showcase experiences, highlight points of interest, share stories through blogs, and build trust through testimonials.
